Ziller Valley, secretly called the "most active valley in the world", is situated in the heart of Tyrol with the Ziller Valley Alps, directly on the border with South Tyrol. The relatively flat valley is full of possibilities! 650 kilometres of piste, 170 lifts, and snow security at 3,250 m – welcome to Ziller Valley! The "Zillertaler Superskipass" is valid for all 650 km in the Ziller, Gerlos, and Tux valleys. Finkenberg is located at the foothill of the Penken, at the entrance to the Tux Valley and is famous for being the hometown of many famous faces. For example, the renowned extreme mountain-climber Prof. Peter Habeler and the philanderer or Olympic winning Leonhard Stock from the Ziller Valley. This resort has something for everyone: you will find tranquility and calm here, as well as adventure and some great experiences. Several winter hiking paths, toboggan runs which can be reached with a free shuttle bus, a natural ice rink and last but not least the après ski is second to none. Alongside its famous neighbour Mayrhofen, Finkenberg forms the extensive ski area “Zillertal 3000” with 227 kilometres of piste. In addition, the resort has the Hintertux Glacier which is an optimal starting point for a worthwhile skiing holiday!
